Biography

Yvon Le Maho is director of research at the CNRS.

The main aim of Yvon Le Maho's research is to understand how animals cope with severe climatic conditions and/or diminishing food resources to ensure their survival and reproduction. On a national and international level, the originality of this approach is linked to the fact that, in return, Yvon Le Maho seeks to highlight adaptive mechanisms that would have been difficult, if not impossible, to discover in laboratory animals.
