Valérie Masson-Delmotte

Recognized in France and around the world as one of the leading scientists on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), for which she co-directed Group 1 from 2015 to 2023, Valérie Masson-Delmotte is a research director at the CEA, at the Laboratoire des sciences du climat et de l'environnement (CEA/CNRS/Université Versailles Saint-Quentin). She is very active in understanding climate disruption, analyzing the resulting climate hazards, and informing the general public and leaders.
