We went to meet Christian Amatore, a member of the French Academy of Sciences, and asked him to share with us some striking anecdotes from his career.
In particular, he told us the story of the "Friendship Award", the highest distinction given by China to a foreign researcher, which he had the honor of receiving 🏅
Through this account, he also evokes the scientific and human links he has forged with numerous colleagues and institutions in China, testimony to a rich and lasting international collaboration 🌏🤝
