ARKEMA/Académie des sciences Award for innovation in sustainable materials chemistry worth €25,000.

The Prize will be awarded for decisive scientific advances in the synthesis, characterizations, processing or applications of sustainable materials, i.e. materials whose life cycle and use lead to an environmental benefit compared with existing materials.
These benefits could include, but are not limited to, bioresources, recycling, and the use of efficient, lightweight materials in renewable energies, construction or sustainable mobility.
By encouraging research in these areas, the Prize underlines chemistry's essential contribution to a low-carbon economy.
The annual prize will be awarded in 2024 to a scientist of any nationality, without age limit.
