Statement 2018 of the G7 academies of science

The academies of science of the seven member countries, including the French Académie des sciences are advising heads of state and government for the annual summits for more than ten years. Before each summit, the academies look at urgent issues relating to the summit agenda that also carry wider implications and require a multilateral approach. In this year, the summit of the G7 states takes place on June 8 and 9 in the Charlevoix region, Quebec.
