G20 2021: Joint Statement of Academies of Sciences on pandemic preparedness and the role of science

In preparation for the G20 2021 Summit, to be held in Rome on October 30 and 31, 2021, the science academies of the member countries, including the french Académie des sciences, have submitted a final statement to their respective governments to alert them to what they see as the most pressing current scientific issues:
