Joint Statement by the Three Academies: Académie des sciences, Leopoldina and Royal Society - January 2018

At a moment where the futures of Europe and of the United Kingdom are subject to considerable uncertainty, the three Academies of sciences of Germany, France and United Kingdom, namely the Leopoldina, the French Academy of sciences and the Royal Society, are reaffirming their confidence in the unity of science and scientific research in all Europe. The three academies wish to underline the need for continuous collaboration, mobility and exchanges of ideas among scientists in all European countries.
