Vue sous-marine des mésocosmes mis en place lors de la mission DUNE 1 (A DUst experiment in a low Nutrient, low chlorophyll Ecosystem) en juin 2008. Cette mission consiste à fixer deux groupes de trois mésocosmes (enceintes expérimentales) de 33 m³ par 25 mètres de profondeur, avec balisage en surface pour la navigation dans la baie d'Elbo, dans la réserve de Scandola en Corse. Quatre mésocosmes sont fertilisés avec des poussières du Sahara, les deux mésocosmes restants servant de référence. Le but de la mission est de mesurer l'influence des apports atmosphériques sur le milieu marin (bactéries et phytoplancton) dans une zone protégée de la pollution.
