Membership of the French Academie des sciences comprises statutory elected Members, Foreign Associate Members and Corresponding Members, who are registered under two Divisions each subdivided into four Sections. An inter-section, called "Applied sciences", brings together Academicians directly concerned with scientific applications. As of May 2013, the Academy has 264 Members, 126 Foreign Associate Members and 93 Corresponding Members.
